Mr. William Copeland “Buddy” McKinney, age 78 of Russellville, passed away Wednesday October 27,2021.
Buddy was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Russellville. He was a lifetime resident of Franklin County.
He is survived by his wife, Letha Pierce McKinney; a son, Michael McKinney (Sharon); Siblings Jane Pierce, Barbara Doren, Mildred Kimbrough, Cathy Watson, Judy McKinney, Jimmy McKinney, Steve McKinney, Donald McKinney, Danny McKinney, Eric McKinney, and Tim McKinney; grandchildren, Jesse McKinney (Kayln) and Autumn Alexander (Ryan); great grandchildren, Serina Alexander, Levi Alexander and Rogan McKinney.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents William & Beatrice Riggs McKinney; brother, Larry McKinney.
Visitation will be on Saturday October 30, 2021 from 1pm – 2pm with the funeral following at 2pm in the Chapel of Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville, Alabama. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens of Russellville. Bro. Chase Dowdy will officiate.
Pallbearers will be, Tim McKinney Donald McKinney, Eric McKinney, Steve McKinney, Danny McKinney and Jimmy McKinney. His nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
