FLORENCE-Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts will host an exhibit of seven Alabama artists working across a broad range of mediums from November 7th through December 23rd in the Kennedy-Douglass Main Gallery. The group show features exceptional artwork, artisanal jewelry, and fiber accessories suitable for holiday gift-giving. The opening reception will take place from 1pm-4pm on Sunday, November 7th.
The show will include work from painter and multi-media artist Mary Ann Casey, silver and precious stone

jewelry from metalsmith Barbara Birdsong, acrylic paintings by artist Dayo Johnson, abstract landscapes by fiber artist Cara Allen, mixed-media assemblage work from artists Martha Beadle and Provie Musso and felted wool hats and accessories by fiber artist Kami Watson.
All artwork at the Holiday Art Bazaar will be available for purchase, and artists will receive 100 percent of all

proceeds. The show invites our community to support Alabama artists and to “Give the Gift of Art” over the holiday season.
The Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts is free and open to the public Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Art Center is located at 217 E.
