Mrs. Lois Lucille Carter Mrs. Lois Lucille Carter, age 88, of the Hulaco community, passed away October 22, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Carter was born on February 15, 1933 in Morgan County to the late Ottis Tillman Oliver & Virgie Wynell Latham. She retired from the Morgan County School System where she enjoyed her career working at Ryan School. In her past time she enjoyed crocheting and reading also spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Carter was a giving person who was always considerate of others; she had a giving spirit and helped those in need. She was a member of Hebron Church of Christ.
She is survived by her sons, Rickey Carter (Stephanie), Darren Carter; daughters, Brenda Carter, Sandra Gulledge (James); eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carter is preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Carter; son, Max Carter; sister, Nellie Dean Looser.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday – October 30, 2021 at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel at11:00 a.m. with Brock Johnson and Levi Sides officiating
Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Whisenant, Danny Wright, Dennis Latham, Norman Roberts and Phillip Kelsoe.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice in honor of Mrs. Lois Carter.
Arrangements entrusted by Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
