Bobby Ray Taylor, Sr. Bobby Ray Taylor, Sr. age 75 of Winchester, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at Elk River Health and Rehab. He was born October 13, 1946 in Winchester to the late Wilburn Taylor and Frances Bradford Taylor. He was a member of Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Bobby was an avid Tennessee football fan. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Cades Cove and Panama City Beach, FL. But, most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Karen Rose Taylor; two sons, Kevin Taylor and Ray Taylor; sister, Martha Shockley; and brother, William Boyd Taylor. He is survived by two daughters, Karen Michelle (Shane) Stovall and Christy (T.J.) Owens of Winchester; grandchildren, Juliann (Kyle) Arp, Jocelyn Taylor, Taylor Stovall, Danica Stovall, Emma Owens, Dylan Stovall and Rylee Owens; sisters, Mary Sons and Brenda (Jerry) Hall of Winchester; and brother, Jim (Alicia) Taylor of Springfield, TN. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Pastor Bruce Shockley officiating.
