Mickey Swearengin, age 58 of Winchester, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at STRHS-Winchester. He was born February 5, 1963 in Franklin County to the late Robert Clyde Swearengin and Ida Lou Farris Swearengin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Swearengin. He loved the holidays, giving and receiving cards, watching News Channel 5 and playing Special Olympics basketball. Mickey is survived by his siblings, David (Theresa) Swearengin, Rickey Swearengin and Rose Mary Swearengin; nephew, Matthew (Laura) Swearengin; caregiver, Jessica Hall; and the staff, caregivers, and friends at New Life. Visitation will be 10 am-12 pm Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12 pm in Moore-Cortner Chapel.
