Marco Earl Shindlebower (Shotgun), 80, of Decatur, AL, passed away on Oct. 14, 2021, in Moulton, AL.  Marco was born in Decatur, AL to Harry A. and Sallie M. Shindlebower on Jan. 21, 1941.  He served 7 years in the Air Force.  He retired from TVA at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.  He was involved in the Patriot Guard Riders and the American Legion.

Marco is survived by his children Terasa Shindlebower Driggers of Hartselle; Marco (Angela) Shindlebower, Jr. of Madison; and Shane (Robin Oden) Shindlebower of Tanner.  His sisters Myrtle Smith of Decatur and Gail (Bob) Schultz of Texas.  His grandchildren Adam (Alisha) Driggers of Hartselle, Tyler (Jessie) Shindlebower of Georgia, Kaylee Shindlebower of Texas.  His great grandchildren Carter Driggers, McKennon Driggers, and Garrett Shindlebower.  Also, many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his spouse Carolyn Shindlebower, parents Harry and Sallie Mae Shinglebar, grandson Joshua Driggers, and brother Harry (Brother) Shindleborrow.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, from 12-2 at the Point Mallard Expo (old outdoor ice rink).

Memorial donations may be made to Patriot Guard Riders, American Legion, or Gideons.
