Era Victoria Osmer Miller, 97 of Gurley, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021. She was born September 13, 1924, to Tom and Annie Osmer in Jackson County, AL. She loved gardening, canning, quilting, her pets and all kinds of animals.
Ms. Miller is survived by her son Larry (Patsy) Miller; daughter Patricia (Walter) Reed; son Gary (Mona) Miller; son Michael (Mary Frances) Miller; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James O. Miller; son James Dwight Miller; parents Tom and Annie Osmer; 8 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Funeral service will be held Friday, October 22, 2021, at Pleas Mount Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be before the service from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Pleas Mount Baptist Church Cemetery.
