Evelyn Grace Parker-Huckaby, 89, of Huntsville, Alabama, died early Monday, September 13, 2021, while sleeping. Evelyn was born April 4, 1932, in Gaylesville, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Estelle Parker of Rome, Georgia. She was a homemaker and retired assisted living caregiver and was a devoted Christian. Evelyn was a widow of the late Richard McGinnis and Howard Huckaby.
Survivors include her children: Evelyn Blackney of Illinois, Richard Dwight McGinnis of Florida, Shelia Diane Worley of Georgia, Amy Loretta Shaw of Alabama, and Ann Hester of Alabama; one sister Patricia Ann Robinson of Alabama; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside memorial service for family and friends at Union Hill Cemetery on April 16, 2022, with Mark Grey officiating.
