LEXINGTON-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday, September 28 that has taken the life of a 16-year-old male from Killen:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, has claimed the life of a Killen juvenile.
The 16-year-old was driving a 2001 Ford F-150 pickup when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The teen was fatally injured and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Lauderdale County 71, approximately three miles south of Lexington. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
