Darlene McDougle 67, of Trinity passed away Sunday September 26, 2021 at Parkway Medical Center. She was born June 11, 1954 in Decatur, Alabama to Alfred and Lillie Grace Askenburg. She was a member of Decatur Christian Fellowship and retired from Kroger after years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Randy McDougle, and a sister, Charlene Guffy. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy McDougle, one son Benjiman McDougle; three daughters, Jamie Talley, Daphne McDougle and Michelle Poston; two sisters, Susan Motes and Sandra Motes. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from noon until 1:00pm at Decatur Christian Fellowship follow by a 1:00pm church service with Pastor John White officiating. Burial will follow at Napp Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bob Eason, Sean Raney, Jason Askenberg, Channing Childers, Josh Eason and Austin Talley. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
