Lillie Mae Allums, age 84 of Empire, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper. She was born May 2, 1937 to the late Mames R. and Mattie A. Williamson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Allums; a grandson, Jason Pearson; and six brothers, Ed, Jim, Robert, Joe, Johnny, J. D. Williamson; and their wives.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Cassels; a great-granddaughter, Keri Hawkins; three great-grandsons, Jacob Pearson, Nathan Austad, and Brandon Austad; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Bell Funeral Home Chapel in Sumiton. Burial will follow in Dillworth Church of God Cemetery with June Booth officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until service time.
