Mr. William Thomas Cranford, age 85, of Empire passed away August 22, 2021 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in McCormack Cemetery. Pastor Nelson Kimberly will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ruth Clements; father, Sylvester Thomas Cranford; and sister, Audrey Todd.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Cranford; sons, David Wayne Cranford (Carla) and Timothy “Tim” Ray Cranford; daughter, Janice Marie Statum; granddaughters, Samantha Carroll (Mark), Randi Leigh and Jennifer Shadix; grandson, Samuel Cranford; great grandsons, Justin Shadix (Paige), Bryant Lawrence and Jayden Hicks; great granddaughters, Kelsey Thomas (Kia), Morgan Carroll, and Aniston Mobley; great-great granddaughter, Kadence Thomas; great-great grandson, Kyson Thomas; nieces, Sherrea Todd Myers and Monte Black; and a host of other relatives and friends.
