Dan Williams, age 65, of Tuscaloosa, AL passed away August 26, 2021, in his home from natural causes.
Dan Williams was born May 14, 1956 in Talladega, AL. After attending Saks High School, he joined the United States Navy where he received an accommodation for his efforts to extinguish a fire while aboard the USS John F. Kennedy off the coast of Vietnam.
Dan Williams is survived by his mother, Amanda Joyce Burford, and his sister, Mary Catherine Hammett, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Williams, his brother Phillip Williams, and his step-father, Frank Burford and step brother, Danny Burford.
The memorial service will be held at Ohatchee Church of Christ on September 7, 2021, at 11 a.m. Following the memorial service, a private burial service for the family will be held at the Oak Bowery Cemetery.
