John Wayne Echols, 56 of Arab passed away Friday, August 20, 2021, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Wayne was born February 23, 1965, in Arab the son of John Estes Echols and Peggy Franklin Echols. He was a graduate of Fairview High School Class of 1983 and was retired from the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his Son: Jonathon Echols; Mother: Peggy Echols; Brother: Brian Echols; Nieces: Kris Hulsey (Chris) and Maddie Carroll; Nephew: Branden Echols; Great Nephews: Thomas and Logan; Host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many dear friends.
Memorial Service will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Brother Rusty Wilkerson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make donations to Gober Funeral Chapel to assist with funeral arrangements.
