Joseph Timothy “Joey” Rogers age 61, of the Sweet Home Community passed away Friday Aug. 20, 2021, at his residence. Joey was born on Nov. 20, 1959, in Huntsville, AL the Son of Alton and Brenda Rich Rogers. He owned and operated Rogers Construction. He was married to Joyce Rogers who passed away on April 16, 2015. He is survived by his Sons: Justin Rogers and Jacob (Ashleigh) Rogers; Sister: Lya (Steve) Anderson; Granddaughters: Emmarie Ann Rogers and Elleigh Kate Rogers along with a host of other family and friends. Funeral Service will be Tues. Aug. 24, 2021, at 2 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Sweet Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday at Gober Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be: Jim Clyburn, Chuck Clyburn, Bobby Rich, Neal Abernathy, Mark Miller and Craig Williams.
