Omaree Boyett Grigsby, 88, of Fayetteville, Tennessee passed away August 14, 2021 at Limestone Lodge in Athens, Alabama. She was born on June 15, 1933 in Hamilton, Alabama to Elton and Vina (Todd) Boyett.
Omaree is survived by her two sons: Ron and Ray Grigsby, one brother, Don Boyett, two grandchildren: David Grigsby and Heather Simmons, three great grandchildren: Adeline Huskey (Noah), Victoria Grigsby, and Elora Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Rayburn Grigsby, two brothers: Hebron and Willard Boyett, and one sister, Jean Eitson.
The family will receive friends at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, from 2:00PM – 3:00PM. A graveside service will be held at Blanche Cemetery on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 3:30PM with Dana Crowell officiating. Interment will be at Blanche Cemetery.
