A Graveside Service for Andrew “Drew” Ingram Sanders, age 56 of Prattville, will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 11:00 A.M in Ashland City Cemetery. Andrew was born in Montgomery, AL in 1965 & passed away of natural causes on Friday, August 13, 2021 at his home in Prattville, AL.
Andrew graduated from Prattville High School in 1984 & Huntington College in 1988.
Andrew was a man of many talents and interests. He traveled the world as a young man and spent several years living in Europe. Andrew became fluent in several difference languages and could speak them with ease. He was an excellent craftsman and could build anything with outstanding skill. He was an attentive son & uncle and loved his family unconditionally.
Andrew was a Christian and believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is survived by his mother, Alta Mary Ingram Sanders, his brother, Kirkpatrick Allen Sanders, his nieces, LouAnne Sanders Owens (Nate); Mary Lillian Sanders Buxton (Grey); and Katie Sanders; and his 5 Great nieces and nephews: Amzie Owens; Nellie Owens, Crosby Owens, Rex Owens & Wilder Sanders. Andrew was preceded in death by his father, William McDonald Sanders Sr. and his brother, William McDonald Sanders, Jr.
Andrew’s favorite bible verse was Proverbs 3:5; “Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your paths.”
Active pallbearers will be: Richard Sanders, George Andrew Sanders, III, Clay Ingram, Maury Ingram, Jon Foshee, and Kendall House.
Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of the arrangements.
