Joe Sargent, age 50, of Parrish, passed away August 11, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, Danny Joe Sargent, Sr. Joe is survived by his mothers, Shelia Bowen Sargent and Melba Inman Willis; wife Carol Ann Buffalo; children, Joanna Cook ( Liz), Trey Sargent (Kasie), Blake Walters, Alisha Edgil (Matt), Casey Welch (Brandi), Josh Welch and Katie Welch (David); grandchildren, Kayt, Wyatt, James, Cooper, Lizzy, Makayla, Wynter, Aiden, Emilee, Evan, Caleb, Natalie, Melanie, Payton, Isabella, Harper, Lily and Tynslee; siblings, Bruce Sargent, Jennifer Rosato (Charles), Janene Sargent, Julie Smith, Patrick Sargent (Malorie) and Jesse Sargent; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joe had an extremely strong personality but was a loving and forgiving man. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren. Joe enjoyed cook outs with his loved ones and friends. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his brothers and was a member of the ICMC Walker County motorcycle club. Joe also enjoyed swimming with his grandchildren and deep sea fishing trips.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 2pm in the New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Rev. Brandon Dill officiating.
