A Funeral service for Jerry Starnes, 74, will be Monday, August 9, 2021 at 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Starnes passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born November 10, 1946, in Madison County to Joshua Elijah Starnes and Flora McWhorter Starnes.
Mr. Starnes was a United States Army Veteran, a former Pastor and Song Director, and a Mason. He was self employed in the HVAC industry and enjoyed watching westerns and Alabama football. Preceding him in death were his parents, Brothers: W.E. “Buster” Starnes and David Starnes and Sisters: Helen Miller and Christine Johnson.
