Virginia Nell Richardson, age 89 of Cordova, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, with funeral services following at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Graveside services will be Monday, August 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Robert Blankenship will officiate.
Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her Husband-Arley Richardson; Father-Louis Milton Honeycutt; Mother-Kate Honeycutt; Sister-in-law-Deb Williams; Brother-Hollis Honeycutt; Infant Daughter-Janice Richardson.
She is survived by her Daughter-Susie Vance (Jerry); Nieces-Bonnie Schlagel (Tom), Joan Luberto (Frank) and Jenny Kate Schlagel; Grandchildren-Matthew Vance and Bradley Vance (Lauren); Great Grandchildren-Charlotte Vance, Jack Vance and Grayson Vance; Cousin-Martha Ann Paine; Special Friends-Donna Williams, Rachel Copeland, Tommy and Becky Wright; Brother-in-law-Travis Richardson (Sandy); Host of friends and relatives.
Pallbearers will be Mike Gilbert, David Vance, Terry Howell, Billy Dill, Steve Knighton and Tommy Wright.
