Gisela Paceley passed away on July 18th after a valiant battle with cancer. Gisela was born on June 13, 1927 in Dortmund Germany as the youngest of nine children. She immigrated to the United States after marrying Lewis Paceley in 1954 and became a proud U.S. citizen. After moving to Huntsville in 1968, she worked as a volunteer at the Huntsville Hospital Women’s Auxiliary for 43 years.
Gisela was predeceased by her parents, siblings, and husband, Lewis. She is survived by her two sons, Lewis and Peter, their wives, Sue and Monica; and five grandchildren, Megan, Jaclyn, Willie, Dan, and Kathy.
The family is planning a private funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation Family Hospice.
