Melinda Darlene Rouse Bailes, age 57, of Oklahoma City, OK, formerly of Sumiton, AL passed away July 17, 2021. She is preceded in death by her father Harold Leon Rouse and her grandparents W.H. and Ruth May and Leon and Edna Rouse and Helen Rouse. Darlene is survived by her Mother, Linda Rouse; son, Derrick Leon Rouse (Ashleigh); brother Darren Rouse; Aunt, Joan Phillips (Ray), Betty Arnold, Barbara Faye Jefferson, Patricia McMahon and Ann Rouse (Charles); beloved companion, Joe Garcia and her two dogs, Buddy and Trouble. Darlene attended Dora High School. She was a member of Sumiton First Baptist Church where she sang in the youth choir. Funeral services will be Friday, July 23, 2021 at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation from 1-2pm, chapel service beginning at 2pm with burial following in Morgan Cemetery, Sumiton, AL .
