July 22 – 31, 2021 – The Last 5 Years, Ritz Theatre, 111 W 3rd St, Sheffield. (TVAA’s annual

SummerStock musical) is a beautifully heartbreaking and uniquely told story of love and loss. This intimate musical invites audiences to take a tour through a five-year relationship, take stock of what matters most, and perhaps take a side.  Info/tickets: TennesseeValleyArts.org  

July 31, 2021—Alabama Music Showcase & Concert, Alabama Music Hall of Fame,

Tuscumbia –Beginning at 1 pm, a full day of concerts featuring Howell Sledge Revue, Norris

Jones & Off the Chain, Tyler Jones Band, Pat Jamar, Darien Omar. Block party with Geoffrey GMaine Robinson, DJ Hunter Jackson, and many, many more! July 31, 2021 – “Music at the Mansion” – Belle Mont, 1569 Cook Lane, Tuscumbia. This annual

Handy Festival event will bring the Jazz Allstars Trio, featuring Scott Silbert on sax, Tyrone

Jackson on keys, and percussionist Chris Burroughs, to Belle Mont Mansion. Concert is 35pm. No charge to attend/complimentary tour/light refreshments/donations accepted.  Info: 256-381-5052

August 21, 2021 – The Jake Landers Bluegrass Concert – Ritz Theatre, 111 W. Third St,

Sheffield. The 7pm concert will be headlined by Sister Sadie. Concert will also include Iron

Horse and Josh Goforth. Tickets ($25) can be purchased at the Tennessee Valley Museum of

September 6, 2021—Shoals Area Labor Day Festival, Spring Park, Tuscumbia. The Shoals    Labor Council’s annual celebration at Spring Park in Tuscumbia begins at 10 am with a parade along Main Street followed by activities in Spring Park.

September 6, 2021— The Coon Dog Labor Day Celebration, 4945 Coondog Cemetery Rd, Cherokee. A unique festival (10am-4pm) featuring old timey bluegrass music, buck dancing, a liar’s  contest, and catered by nearby Bishop’s Barbeque. Info: 256-324-1122

September 19, 2021 – Shoals Symphony presents Yesterday: A Tribute to the Beatles, Norton Auditorium on the UNA campus, Florence. The Shoals Symphony Orchestra will start the  season off with some “Help!” from the #1 Tribute Act in Las Vegas, Yesterday! You’ll hear chart topping hits of Beatles classics performed with live orchestra for a POPS crossover event sure to entertain! Show begins at 7pm. Tickets and info: ShoalsSymphony.org

October 2-3, 2021— Shoals Fest, McFarland Park, Florence. Two-day music festival featuring

October 30, 2021 – Magical Masquerade, Rogers Hall, UNA Campus, Florence. (A special event fundraiser benefitting the Shoals Symphony) Join the SSO for magical night of music and mystery! This unique event at Rogers Hall on the campus of UNA will be one that        encourages you to wear a mask of a different kind!
