James Ellis Thornton, age 50, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at NorthCrest Medical Center. No services planned at this time.
Mr. Thornton was born June 23, 1971 in Booneville, MS to James and Betty Fry Thornton. He worked as a truck driver.
Mr. Thornton is preceded in death by his mother. In addition to his father, he is survived by his children, Kenneth (Lauren) Thornton of California, Randy Thornton of Columbia, TN, and Sheila Smith of Hendersonville, TN.
