Charles Edward Jett Charles Edward Jett, passed away July 8, 2021, at his home in Lynnville, TN. He was born on February 28, 1943 and was 78 years old.
Charles was born and raised in Lynnville, TN and was a 1961 graduate of Jones High School.

He enlisted in the Army in 1964 and spent the majority of his service in Germany. Upon returning stateside he worked 32 years at Union Carbide in Columbia, TN. He spent much of his free time and retirement years serving his community as alderman and mayor of Lynnville. His other pastimes included farming, hunting, collecting, being the town mechanic and hanging with morning coffee crew at Soda Pop Junction. But the most important and pleasurable things in his life were spending time with his girls and fishing with his grandchildren. Being PaPa was the highlight of his life!

Visitation will be Saturday July 10, 2021 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be Sunday July 11, 201 at 2:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

Burial will be at the Lynnwood Cemetery in Lynnville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Edward Jett and Mary Evelyn Knowles.
He is survived by his;
Wife, Kaye Jett of Lynnville, TN.
Daughter, Brooke (Knox) Vanderpool of Pulaski, TN.
Daughter, Lindsey Jett of Pulaski, TN.
Grandchildren, Jett, Stevi James, and Rocker Vanderpool
Sisters, Doris Bussell of Nashville, TN., Evelyn Brewer of Columbia, TN. , Barbara (James) Griggs of Tullahoma, TN.
Brother, David (Thelma) Jett of Pulaski, TN.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Charles Edward Jett.
