Mrs. Frances Lucille Herring Bergman, age 87, of New Hope, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Bergman was born on January 28, 1934 in Mississippi to the late Clarence Edwin Herring, Sr. & Lula Frances Greene Herring. In her past time she enjoyed playing solitaire, quilting and crocheting. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Fran Bergman Thompson McDonald (Ron) of New Hope; sister, Marie Hooper of New Market; brother, Ed Herring of Scottsboro; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bergman is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bergman, sons, Lindy Bergman, Jr., Leonard Bergman, Mark Bergman; sisters, Sarah Herring, Carolyn Lambert, Jane Jordan ; grandson, Kurtis Thompson.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday – July 10, 2021 at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Trotwood Mance officiating.
Interment will follow services immediately at the Brookwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm.
