Mrs. Maudie Sanders, age 86 of Boaz passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Barfield Health Care.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Beulah Baptist Church with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Tony Holcomb and Rev. Jason King will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Andy Sumners, Matt George, Chad Wiggs, Michael Crawford, Lee Stracener and Clay Minor.
Visitation will be from 1 until 2 before the service at the church.
She is survived by her children; Don Sanders (Karen), Helen Sumners (Stanley) and Ken Sanders (Lela), eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and brother; Joseph Johnson (Joann).
Mrs. Sanders is preceded in death by her husband; Ned Sanders.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Beulah Baptist Church.
