Mrs. Mary Kate Bradford Mary Kate Bradford, of Arab, passed away at Diversicare on Friday, June 25, 2021, at the age of 96, just seven days shy of her 97th birthday.

Mrs. Bradford was born on July 2, 1924, in Kelso, TN to Tennie and Temple Lackey. She was married to the late Francis (Frank) Lafayette Bradford for 61years. Mary Kate worked at and retired from Floral Design in Arab, where she dearly loved all her coworkers. She lived a long and full life. Her passions included flower and vegetable gardening, cooking, and caring for her sister, Mamie Sue Hunter. She loved her family and friends and will be missed by many.

Mrs. Bradford was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending services and loved all the members.

Mrs. Bradford will be forever remembered by: her son, James Daniel Bradford (Jimmie), granddaughters Melanie Pendergrass (Keith) and Tonya Cash (Mark), great grandchildren, Justin Pendergrass, Allison Davidson (Dustin), Kyle Cash, and Emma Cash, great-great granddaughter Collins Davidson, sister, Mamie Sue Hunter, special nephews Winston Lackey (Bonnie) and Steve Lackey, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Bradford was preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis (Frank) Lafayette Bradford.

A visitation will be held at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 4:00 p.m. with Bros. Quenton Claborn and Michael Lackey officiating.

Pallbearers escorting Mrs. Bradford to her final resting place will include; Keith Pendergrass, Mark Cash, Justin Pendergrass, Kyle Cash, Dustin Davidson, and Brett Henderson.
