Barbara Jean Sumner, age 67 of Parrish, AL passed away on June 16, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was a ray of sunshine to her husband of 6 years.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Wayne Taylor Will officiate.
Mrs. Sumner was preceded in death by her First Husband-William “Bill” Holloway; Father-James Ott; Brother-Larry Ott and several other family members.
She is survived by her Husband-Phillip Sumner; Daughters-Billie Rhodes, Mary Johnson (Brent), Amanda Holloway (Jonathan); Stepchildren-Linda Green (Jim), Susan Russell (Kerry), Christine Spears, Micheal Sumner; Grandchildren-Nathaniel Johnson, Peyton Johnson, Lindsey Holloway, Alyssa Rhodes, Samantha Johnson, Addison Holloway, Karrigan Johnson. Step-Grandchildren-Heather Wallace (Steven), Brandy Price (Jimmy), Stephanie Kendrick (James), Hailey Wise, Brodie Wise, Korban Spears, Lily Spears; Mother-Bernice Lamberth; Sister-Marsha Phillips (Kenny); In-Laws-Mike Sumner and Troy Sumner (Camille), Kaye Sneal and a host of nieces and nephews.
