Iller M. Hargett Spires, age 85, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at her residence.
Iller loved her church and even started having weekly church services at the apartments where she lived until the COVID pandemic hit. She loved going to the beauty shop and the Dollar Tree with her cousin and best friend, Jean. All of the children loved to be around her. She loved her family very much and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death her husband, Roland Theodore Hargett; parents, Charlie & Lola Bell (Brimer) Thomas; siblings, Gladys, Annie, Amy, Louise, Oneal, Harlis, Hershel, and Joe Wayne.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Diane Hargett, Donnie Hargett, Dwight Hargett, Rebecca Lovelady; grandchildren, Timothy Kellum, Kimberly Kellum, Angela Hargett, Brandon Hargett, Sunshine Hargett, Tyler Hargett, Dustin Hargett, Jonathon Gipson, Samuel Gipson (Laura), Christopher Gibson; great-grandchildren, Diamond, Charlie, Jayden, Tori, Jake, Michaela, Lixe, Faith, Tucker, Nate, Lillie, Braxton, Bryson; great-great-grandchild, Phoenix; cousin & best friend, Jean Welch; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Speaking at the service will be Bro. Donnie Borden and Bro. Joe. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Timothy Kellum, Brandon Hargett, Christopher Gipson, Samuel Gipson, and Marvin McKinney. The honorary pallbearers will be Jonathon Gipson and Dustin Hargett.
