Timothy Hale Abernathy of Prospect, TN passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his home. He was 65 years old.
Tim is survived by the love of his life and wife of 45 years, Theresa Abernathy, along with their children; Andrew Abernathy, Jiffy Abernathy, Amanda Peden and Robert Abernathy; granddaughters Madison Abernathy, Izabella Peden, Zoe Peden and Marcy Zeitner; siblings Stan Galyen, Rod Abernathy, Sherry Brake and Vikki Woodall.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence Hale Abernathy and Evelyn Verlene Cartwright.
Tim was a simple man who cherished his family and friends. He enjoyed boating at Tims Ford Lake and will be deeply missed by all.
Per Tim’s wishes no service will be held. Tim was a generous man; in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to your favorite charity in his honor.
