Donald Andrew BarrettDonald Andrew Barrett, 86, of Huntsville passed away Saturday. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1952. Donald served in the United Sates Marine Corps before graduating from Little Rock University in 1958. He was an Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Special Agent and a truck driver.

Donald enjoyed traveling and fishing, he always caught the biggest fish and the most fish.

He was proceeded in death by his son, Michael Barrett and daughter-in-law Elizabeth; granddaughter, Carissa Mitchell and grandson Grant Barrett. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Irma Barrett; son, Greg (Vickie) Barrett and daughter Suzette (Tony) Martin, both of Huntsville Alabama; grandchildren, Andrew (Catherine) Barrett, Matthew Barrett, Amanda (Matt) Williamson, Adam Barrett, Taylor (Brady) Kimbrell and Paige (Jake) Lott; eight great grandchildren and two brothers, Milton Barrett of Hamburg, Arkansas and Homer Barrett of Hixson, TN.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Laughlin Funeral home. There will be a graveside service Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Limestone Memorial Gardens, in Athens Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
