Stanley Lee Boles, age 72 of Elora, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at STRHS in Winchester. He was born on April 29, 1949 in Madison, Alabama to Mary Elizabeth Reeves Boles and the late Cecil Boles. He was a 1967 graduate of Flintville High School and later enlisted in the Army and served in the Vietnam War, where he received a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. Stanley’s favorite place to be was outdoors, either in the woods hunting or out on the water fishing. He will always be remembered as being a quiet and loving man that will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Boles; brothers, Steven Boles, and Danny Boles. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Judy Boles of Elora; stepchildren, Angie (Jeff) Clark of Athens, Alabama, Barry (Kelly) Hill of Hazel Green, Alabama; step grandchildren, Matthew Clark, Hannah Clark, Sara Hill; step great-granddaughter, Olivia; mother, Mary Elizabeth Boles of Elora; siblings, Pat Owens of Elora, Brenda (Bobby) Fanning of Elora, Mark (Stephanie) Boles of Huntland, Richard (Tina) Boles of Elora, Ronald Boles of Elora; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
