Lawrence Edward Bradford, age 65 of Winchester, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was born on December 26, 1955 in Winchester to the late Lawrence and Mildred Frame Bradford. He attended Grundy County High School where he played baseball and later graduated from in 1974. He worked for 28 years as a teamster at AEDC before his retirement in 2015. Lawrence was a bit of an outdoorsman and loved to spend time camping, gardening, and having a camp fire all year round. He also loved to spend time with his kids and grandsons, playing corn hole, and loved to help Bryan in his Taxidermy shop where he was known as the PR man. He was a very determined and dependable hardworking man, who would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He is survived by his wife of over 44 years, Juanita Bradford; son, Bryan (Lisa) Bradford; daughter, Christy (Dusty) Overman; grandsons, Garrett Bradford, Derrick Cash, Drake Overman, Dylan Overman, Draven Overman; sisters, Linda (Lawrence “Peanut”) Smith, Kathlene (Allen) Franklin, Connie (Chris) Davis, Barbie (Mark) Farris, Tammy (Bradford) McGee, Lisa (Mike) Clayton; brothers, Richard (Nancy) Bradford, Kenny (Betty) Bradford, Larry Bradford; Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-Law, Randy (Judy) Yarbrough, Joanna (Wayne) Whittington, Cindy (Larry) Kernagis, Vickie (Mark) Welch; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 14, 2021 in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Gardner. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
