Mary Ann Blalock Mary Ann Blalock, 88, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021. Mrs. Blalock was proud of her years of employment with the Children’s Advocacy Center. She was a member of Valley United Methodist Church. Ann served with the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 176 for over 40 years. She was instrumental in helping to raise funds to be applied towards college scholarships and she was active in the Girls State Program. Ann served as state president and was elected to a national office. She served in a multitude of committees to help our nations veterans. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, John Blalock; sister, Kathleen Wyman; brothers, James Eslick and Billy Eslick and son-in-law, Jim Kirkland.

Survivors include children, Terry Smith (Tina), Kay Vest (Tommy), and Susan Kirkland; brother-in-law, Charles Wyman; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and special friend, Kay Barnard.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 10th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Wren Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
