Tommy Russell, 73 of Athens, passed away on Friday, April 30th, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Russell was born on August 1st, 1947 to John Russell and Sally Dunnavant Russell.
Mr. Russell is survived by his daughters Angela Chappell (David), Tammy Shrader, and Sherry Russell; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers John Russell (Linda) and Ed Russell; sisters Sandra Curnutt (Bill) and Jewel Reid (Burl); and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; son Tim Russell; and grandson Ethan Shrader.
Funeral services for Mr. Russell will be Wednesday, May 5th, 2021 at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with J. W. Wallace officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00-2:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
