Funeral services for Mrs. Kay Harris McPeake, age 66, are scheduled for 10 AM, Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington, Tennessee. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. McPeake passed away suddenly Sunday in Jackson, Tennessee. She was born October 3, 1954 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Richard and Geneva Taylor Harris. She graduated from Memphis State with her BSBA. She worked as a paralegal and retired from Jackson State Community College working in their business office. She enjoyed traveling and was always ready to go! She adored her grandchildren and all aspects and activities of their life. Mrs. McPeake was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Johnny McPeake. Survivors include her only son and one of the greatest joys of her life, Mead Crawford III (Shray) and seven grandchildren, Christian, Angel, Grace, Jacob, Hunter, Elizabeth, and Creed. She also leaves a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday 3-8 PM and on Wednesday 9 AM until time of service.
