Age 74 of Nashville passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at his home. He was born October 12, 1946 in Houston, TX to Lloyd Eugene and Grace Gertrude Arnold Hooks. He worked in auto parts sales before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and football and was an avid Las Vegas Raiders fan. He also enjoyed watching the Titans and fishing. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam and also later served in the U.S. Marines. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Hooks. He is survived by his sons, Joshua (Holly) Hooks Pemberton, Jared (Cristy) Hooks and Jacob Hooks, all of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Leslie (Joe) Tombrella, Santa Fe, TX and Wendy (Karol) Hooks-Kramer, El Cajon, CA; sisters, Sue (Craig) Hearn, Conroe, TX and Patsy (Chuck) Griggs, Rockport, TX; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
