Mr. Jason Heath Owen Mr. Jason Heath Owen of the Ruth Community; passed away in the late hours of Wednesday – March 10, 2021 at the age of 47 years.
Mr. Owen was born on June 27th of 1973 in Madison County, Alabama. Mr. Owen previously worked as a welder, contracting for BASF. Jason took pleasure in many hobbies throughout his life, such as; hunting, fishing, bow fishing planting food plots, going to concerts, listening to John Butler fixing things with his mechanical skills and snake catching. His wildlife management was on par with any biologist and he was always a perfectionist at whatever he did, but above all, he enjoyed spending time and talking with his family and friends.
Mr. Owen will be forever remembered by his father; Melvin A. Owen; sister, Penny Isom (Stacey); niece, Abigail McDonald (Jacob); nephew, Heath Wesley Isom and cousin, Jonathan F. Saylor.
Mr. Owen is at last reunited with his beloved mother; Linda F. Owen and grandparents, Max and Sadie Saylor and J.P. and Opal Owen.
A Graveside Service and burial will take place at the Mt. Oak / Ruth Cemetery on Saturday – March 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Randy Rathman, officiating.
Pallbearers escorting Mr. Owen to his final resting place will be: Scott Glenn, Robert Glenn, Ricky Garrett, Greg Wray, Keith Wayne Wray and Scott Saylor.
In Lieu of Flowers; the Family of Mr. Owen has requested that donations be made to the Wheeler Wildlife Refuge Association in Decatur, Alabama.
