Velma Mae McLaughlin Boggan, 95, of Greenhill, AL, passed away January 24, 2021 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. Velma was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker and a member of Lone Cedar Church of Christ. Velma is survived by: Son: Mike Boggan Granddaughter: Monica Tracey Boggan and fiancé Cain Burbank Great-grandchildren: Lakin Lanette Ticer, Taylor Michael Ticer, and Dylan Inman She was preceded in death by: Parents: Henry Thomas McLaughlin and Rosa Nell Langford McLaughlin Granddaughter: Desha Michelle Boggan Brother: William Ellis McLaughlin Sister: Dorothy Robertson Special Friend: Jamie Gooch Visitation for Velma will be Wednesday, January 27 from 1-2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel with Ralph Holt officiating. Burial will be in Canerday Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cain Burbank, Frank Canerday, Mike Sylvester, Danny Hardeman, Darryl Schmucker, and Kurtis Robertson. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
