Barbara Nell Cockrell, 83, of Double Springs, Alabama entered into rest on January 2, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Cockrell was born on April 7, 1937 in Delmar, AL.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 12pm-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 2pm. Brother Gary Wakefield will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama.
Barbara is survived by three children: Delilah Carter, Gloria (Mark) Taylor and Frankie (Martha) Clark; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; a brother, Teddy Kelley; and a sister, Doris Smith.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Robert E. Cockrell and her parents, Odie and Lois Kelley.
