Mr. Donald Bell Herrin age 87 of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, January 02, 2021, at his residence. He was born October 18, 1933, in Smithville, TN, retired from Ben Lomand after 29 ½ years, and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Mr. Herrin was preceded in death by his parents Warren Frank and Martha Bell Steel Herrin, brothers Charlie Herrin, Warren Frank Herrin, Jim Herrin, Oscar Paul “Howard” Herrin, Ned Herrin, and Calvin Herrin, and sister Frances Cantrell.
Don is survived by his wife Jo Herrin, daughters Donna Debbie Herrin (Horace Anderson) and Vickie Lee Ramsey, sisters Armanda (Carlie) Burgess, Linda (Wade) Farley, and Clarneil (Teddy) Slatton, brothers Ben (Pearl) Herrin, David (Josephine) Herrin, brother and sister-in-law Dan and Myrna Vickers, sister-in-law Earline Holt, Earline Vickers, nephew Darren Holt, niece Diane Stroop, grandchildren Justin Leigh Murray, Jessica (Michael) Welch, Alan (Hillary) Adcock, and Amber Polson, and great grandchildren Lilly Welch, Macie Bledsoe, Blake Welch, Abagail Adcock, Khloe Adcock, Kora Adcock, Charlsie (Chris) Caughron, Aiden Polson, and Layla Polson.
Graveside service and interment will be at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 06, 2021, at New Union Cemetery @ Hwy 30 East. Jonathan Womack will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 2:30 P.M. at the chapel of McMinnville Funeral Home. Social distancing and the wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged.
