Tommie Bruce Vest, 82 of Hartselle passed away December 7, 2020 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Bruce family Cemetery in Dickson, TN. Peck Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Ms. Vest was born May 15, 1938 in Tennessee to Charles Edward Bruce, Sr. and Bonnie Alma Frazier Bruce. She worked as a RN, most notably for Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
She is survived by her daughters Julie Vest and Bonnie Thompson (Perry); sisters Mary Lee Mackie, Jane Mott, Betsy Flick, and Frances Unruh; and grandchildren BJ Thompson, Alex Thompson, Randi Thompson, Davey Vest (Mallory), Kenny Thompson, and Tommy Thompson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Samaritan’s Purse.
