Funeral Service for Dorothy Jean Byrd, age 83, of Cullman, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Destiny Church with Pastor Fred Rivers officiating; interment in Cullman Heritage Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Byrd passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born March 31, 1937, to Monroe and Louise Moon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Byrd; daughter, Amy Byrd; parents; and sister, Daisy York.
Survivors include her son, Tim (Sandy) Byrd; daughter, Cindee (Kevin) Wasilewski; grandchildren, Amiranda (Greg) Earnest, Cedrick Byrd, Seth (Layla) Wasilewski, Spencer Byrd, Levi Wasilewski, and Brilee (Alex) Smith; great-grandchildren, Rowen Wasilewski, Tucker Williams, Jacob Earnest, Trentley Vincent, Ella Wasilewski, Jack Earnest, Rosealee Byrd, and Kyde Byrd; brothers, Reedus (Bobbie) Moon, Ted (Nancy) Moon, Danny (Becky) Moon, and Ricky (Shelia) Moon; sisters, Marlene (Harry) Waller, Carolyn Ashby, and Sandra (Terry) Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Pallbearers are Cedrick Byrd, Allen Gordon, Seth Wasilewski, Spencer Byrd, Alex Smith, Levi Wasilewski, and honorary pallbearer, Greg Earnest.
