Thomas “Tommy” Carleton Groover, Jr., 42, of Huntsville passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020. Tommy was born in Austell, GA and grew up in Alexandria, VA where he graduated from T.C. Williams High School. He moved to Huntsville in 2005. Tommy was a Christian, an accomplished Kung Fu fighter and an avid Doumbek drummer. He was a bar manager and loved people and his family.
Survivors include his wife, Danielle Groover; one daughter, Arianna Groover-Landis; mother, Brenda Bearden, father, Thomas C. Groover, Sr.; brothers, Christopher Cleveland of Greer, SC and Beauregard Groover of Kings Mountain, NC; in-laws, Debra and Troy Breeding of Lebanon, MO; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A private service will be held for family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Tommy.
