Audrey Stocks, 85, of Huntsville, AL, passed away peacefully October 31, 2020, with her loving family by her side. She was born in London, England October 10, 1935 to Louis Smith and Elsie (Stead) Smith. She met her husband, of 67 years, Charles D. Stocks, while he was serving in the Air Force and stationed in England. She was very active in the International community of Huntsville and was involved in the International Club, British Sterling’s and British Accents Club. She loved and supported the arts, music, pets, and gardening throughout her life. She was one who never met a stranger, and had many friends; she was British through and through and never lost her accent or her British wit.
She was a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandmother whose journey was forever touching lives. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Christine (Stocks) Malone. She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Stocks; son, David I. Stocks of Huntsville, AL; daughter, Gillian Stocks and husband Steve Reichert, grandson Jarrod Stocks of Huntsville, AL; and son-in-law, Carl T. Malone of Huntsville, AL.
