Graveside service for Hilma Faye (Dobbs) Gazaway, age 94, of Decatur, will be Monday, November 9, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery, Decatur, AL, with Rev. Jim Fiscus officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Gazaway, who died Sunday, November 1, 2020, at her residence, was born March 25, 1926, in Decatur to James Roy Dobbs, Sr. and Altie Cooper Dobbs. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ms. Gazaway was employed in administration for the UAB School of Nursing.
She is survived by her son, Allan Gazaway (Amy) of Land O’ Lakes, FL; and two daughters, Marilynn Byrd of Hillsboro, AL, and Susan D’Antoni (Edward) of Potomac, MD.
