James A. Arthur, age 73 of Russellville, Alabama passed away Monday, October 26, 2020. He worked for Burdick West Hospital in Haleyville as an assistant administrator and later worked at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville and retired as a nursing home administrator. He attended the First Baptist Church, Haleyville.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Nathan Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
James is survived by his sister and brothers, Joyce (Frank) Whitehead, Gene (Patsy) Arthur and Doug Arthur; a host of family and friends
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Elizabeth Arthur; son, Rusty Arthur; and sister in law, Joan Arthur.
