Memorial service for George Garland Medders, Jr., 75, will be Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Medders died on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born September 14, 1944, in Mississippi to George Garland Medders, Sr. and Bertha Geneva Stigger Medders. Mr. Medders was preceded in death by his parents. Prior to his retirement, he was a carpenter for Norton Corporation. Mr. Medders loved hunting, fishing and loved boating.

Two Daughters – Gail Medders and Melonie Stinson
Brother – Gerald Medders
Three Grandchildren – Johnathan Turner, Megan Lane and Morgan Stinson
Three Great-Grandchildren – Colt Terry, Canter Terry and Kye Turner
