Private Services for Mrs. Cleo T. Graben, age 84 of Pell City, were held Friday, August 14, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at Barfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Graben passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at The Village at Cook Springs Nursing Home. Born in Vernon, AL she spent most of her life in Birmingham. She was a homemaker but also ran Western Construction Company with her husband Leslie. They painted, wallpapered and remodeled homes for about 20 years until Leslie died in 1990.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Lake (James) of Pleasant Grove and Cindy Waldrup (Tim) of Pinson; grandchildren, Blake Waldrup, David Lake and Lindsey Lake; great-grandchild, Aubrey Lake; sister, Helen Younghanse; and many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Mrs. Graben is preceded in death by her parents: William Sampson Thompson and Cleasie Box Thompson; two sons, Kenneth Dale Graben and Keith Graben; one granddaughter, Destiny Graben; 8 brothers and 14 sisters.
Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of arrangements.
